Brigid

Picture

In medieval Ireland people still followed the pagan
rituals and customs, even as Christianity was being introduced as monks and priests from Europe were immigrating.  My new book, "Waves of Light" is the story of how Isolde meets a young priest, a woman, named Brigid after the beloved Goddess Brigid of the ancient tribe, Tuatha de Danaan.  February 1 is her feast day.  Many of the same issues we are facing today; such as immigration and religion are dealt with in this story.  Share here your thoughts about how history repeats its self and how we can learn from it.  OR share what's on your mind....I'd love to hear from you!

Our Women, Our Stories

None of us today knew this courageous woman, Michaelina (Ignatowicz) Pajaczck.  We know that she was a woman of small stature, who spoke heavy Polish, and was an kind ‘bacia,’ but we can get a better glimpse of her by her actions and by pondering the women that followed her.
