Maggie thinks about kids....

It didn't take long to realize that my grandchildren needed a supplement in order to understand my first book Waves of Darkness.  They were not familiar with the setting....Ireland in the medieval times.   Mary Pope Osborne's Tree House Mysteries have a wealth of information both nonfiction and fiction to scaffold the understandings of long ago.  A timeline sort of~ to help them organize the settings of my story....Here I would welcome comments from parents and kids about my books...I can't wait to get Waves of Love....my Viking book out for you to see!

Our Women, Our Stories

None of us today knew this courageous woman, Michaelina (Ignatowicz) Pajaczck.  We know that she was a woman of small stature, who spoke heavy Polish, and was an kind ‘bacia,’ but we can get a better glimpse of her by her actions and by pondering the women that followed her.
