An Invitation...

Picture
Once again, I am reaching out to my literary friends!

Mostly, my reading and writing life has been personal~whether it be how
I’m drawn to write a poem, listen to music, look at art, or journal.
Mostly, it is enough for me to enjoy these passions alone and it is
therapy to let myself get caught up in it, much the same as digging in
the garden or getting on a plane.
I try to lure friends to share with me in this blog as a celebration o
expression.  I believe when we publish our thoughts, others can
benefit.  Just as we have learned from and adored the works of Yeats,
Shakespeare, Tolkien and all the men and women who came before us.
Their work has been inspiring and encouraging to so many!

Instead of a prompt, I would like to invite you to write what you have been
writing, reading, and wondering about.  That is what my website really is.
It gives me a place to archive my imaginings, to publish nuggets that are
Important to me.
Maybe someday one of my friends, or family will find a nugget here to inspire them.
 That is my wish.

Our Women, Our Stories

None of us today knew this courageous woman, Michaelina (Ignatowicz) Pajaczck.  We know that she was a woman of small stature, who spoke heavy Polish, and was an kind ‘bacia,’ but we can get a better glimpse of her by her actions and by pondering the women that followed her.
