Autumn beckons Writers

As the morning creeps quietly into noon, the squirrel hops anxiously from root to tree searching for treasures.  Shadows begin to move
into my stoned gardens.   It is autumn.
For many of us, it is evident, how real the connection between nature, culture and writing are for me.  Nothing ignites my muse like the smell of the earth, the sight of the changing plants and the sounds of creation.

As we tell the tales of people from long ago or create fantasies and diaries of characters of today and tomorrow……we have places outside our walls that trigger imagination.  When I write of Isolde and Tristan it is the ocean.
In many ways, the sea has become my heart and therefore fertile soil for my passions in writing.

Where are the places in nature that trigger your thoughts?  Tell us here where you want to go when you feel free and alive.  Or post a picture that would suggest that elusive place!
